Hey Bloggerettes,
Los Angeles CHA was a great get-a-way for this time of year. Sandals and short sleeves everyday - but I wear sandals whenever I can anyway! I found the show smaller than ususal; less vendors and a smaller scale. Several vendors are not in business anymore or else they have been taken over by someone. I don't think it was 8 miles to walk the show this year. Lynn and I chatted with Mr. Tim, Mario, Donna Downey (she had the cutest outfit on - and fabulous glasses), Margie Romney-Aslett (Girls' Paperie - she is hilarious), Paula and Deb (7 Gypsies - they love The Scrap Yard), Stephanie Hunt (Bella Blvd - she had the best story of the show), Madison (Echo Park super-saleman), KC (My Mind's Eye salesman), Claudine Hellmuth (watched her demo with sticky back canvas), Suze Weinberg (red-headed ball of fire - we met her on the street and helped her into her hotel), Teresa Collins (she looked beautiful as ever), The Glitz Girls (they remembered the funny glasses they tried on in the store). I did an 8 hour class with Tim Holtz on Wednesday. Check out the photo and see me in the front row of the class.
CIAO for now!
