New and exciting!

Hey Bloggerettes,

Some really cool stuff has come in lately. You better get to it before Robin gets to it!

We've carried Collage Press before and were just waiting for their new line of Christmas (Joy Ride) to come out. I've attached their website so you can take a peak. (Their images are copyrighted and can't be transferred to a blog.)

Also on the shelves are:

October Afternoon's "Report Card"
Creative Imagainations "Passion for Fashion", "Lionel Trains", "123 Celebrate Me"
Ten Second Studios "Big Mamma" and "Big Daddy" dies along with the Humungo Mat sets

I'll try to upload some pics later.

Greetings to all of our sick and wounded customers. You know who you are! We miss you.

Random Rantings

Hi Everyone;

Thought I would share a few photos that Lori was describing in her last blog. Enjoy.
Also wanted to let everyone we got some AMAZING product in the store yesterday and today. Yesterday we got a box full of Melissa Frances stuff. I was drooling (and of course took a bagful home). Some of it didn't even reach the shelves - it was chaos as everyone was rummaging through the basket. Time to re-order already! Today we got a big box of bling - a new company that we are carrying called Zva. Really great stuff (and great prices). I am REALLY looking forward to next week when the Jenni Bowlin order comes in - lots of cute baby stuff and some Christmas thrown in.

I have to say how much I am enjoying taking the "Shabby Chic" classes that Lynn is teaching. I so look forward to the class every week and I am so inspired (I even managed to knock off 2 layouts last night). Even though I have been scrapbooking for 15 years I am still learning a ton (I guess you really can teach old dogs new tricks)!

Lori and her brother travelled to surprise her mom for her 75th birthday this weekend. Happy Birthday Joan!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Lost boxes recovered!

Hey Bloggerettes;

We had some stray shipment boxes appear today. We have restocked the Tim Holtz alcohol inks, distress stickles, distress ink pads, scissors, matts, blending foams etc.

Other products include Making Memories Vintage line, October Afternoon Report Card collection, a few papers from a baby boy line with a cute zebra on it, Kaisercraft bling and a few Christmas papers, some miniature things for ATC's, "Stickles" in all the colors, "Dew Drops" and some Christmas embellishments.

I can't believe we are sold out of the newest Kaisercraft Advent Calendars. It was a hot commodity just like the Basic Grey Calendar Kits.

Our "Shabby Chic Layout" classes are so much fun! Lynn is amazing! Robin and I can barely squeeze into the classes. Last week we added drywall paste, imprinted it with foam stamps and sprayed color wash to our layout. A word to the wise - go easy on the color wash, especially if it's red! One of the most interesting things about the class is the vast array of photographs people are using on their layouts. It changes the emotion of the layout so much depending on the subject portrayed. Maureen, you are so cute in your checkered outfit. Sorry about your mom's leg VK!

Halloween was a fun day at the store. Some of our Saturday "Chicks With Blades" came in costume. "Octomom" complete with 8 babies, long brown hair and big lips was in the house, "Martha's Trainee" was busy decorating the front of our store with pumpkins and crime scene tape at 5:00 a.m. - then she brought in decorated cupcakes on a Halloween tiered tray - tooooo much work!!! I guess Martha is a slave-driver. Robin was dressed as Kate Gosselin complete with the Starbucks cup and blonde "Kate" styled wig. She had a backpack full of 6 babies of 2 different races. I was dressed in my crossword puzzle flannel pajamas with the crossword grid on my face and a white bob wig - VERY HOT COSTUME (temperature-wise) What 50 year old could possibly sleep in flannel pajamas!!!

Best recovery wishes to DMc and DH. Who is helping who now????
