**New Monthly Layout Challenge!**

Happy New Year to you and your families!! We wish you much happiness, good health and of course lots of inspiration for 2012. To help you with the inspiration we are excited to announce a monthly layout/card challenge. At the beginning of each month we will prompt you with a challenge. Your layout/card will be due by the 15th of the month. We will have our customers vote on the layouts to determine the winner. Now you're probably wondering what the winner will receive, well they will receive a $10.00 gift card! Sound fun? So lets get started with the first challenge of the year.

CHALLENGE #1- January
Your challenge this month is to create a layout or card using a word that has personal feeling to you. The word can be a thought, feeling, emotion or inspirational, remember this is your word. The word must appear somewhere on your layout or card and be visible to the viewer.

All submissions must be in no later that January 14 at 5pm.

We can't wait to see what you create!!

Big Weekend a Big Success!

Hey Bloggerettes,

I want to thank all of the gals who attended the retreat at Nakoda Lodge this past weekend - it was great. The retreats get better and better every year thanks to the mix of attendees. This year we had some girls fly in from Coeur D'Alene, a group from central Alberta drove down, "the Myanna Show" of 15 or more, the "Honeybee" group of altered artists and all of my faithful regulars. Mike, Purcell, Lynn, Pat, Jess, Lucie, Karen and Marlene all deserve a big thank you for packing me up. The only casualty was the severe case of chapped lips, just like last year. I picked up some "Extreme-Stick" at Script Pharmacy - great stuff, highly recommend it.

Arriving this week at the "Yard" should be the Tim Holtz dies that we've all been waiting for. Watch for my posts on FACEBOOK for their arrival.
