Provo Craft has released 7 new cartridges for the Cricut - Hanna Montana, Spongebob Square Pants, Stamping Solutions, Kitchen & Bath Decor, European, Decor, A Child's Year and Ashlyn's Alphabet. We probably won't see these until late spring.

Tim Holtz says: "it's time for more CHA sneak peeks - my new collection of products from idea-ology. i have to say this is such a dream come true product line for me since i am able to come up with the most eclectic and sometimes quirky ideas - yet they turn into reality. this new release has so many different kinds of products in it including....get this....grungepaper! yep, these 12x12 sheets of thinner grungeboard have all of the amazing properties of grungeboard, but now with it's thin design and larger surface, you can use it for larger projects. it can be die-cut, and even punched with punches so your inks and paints have a whole new surface to alter. i've also designed some incredible embellishments that compliment the existing idea-ology products including ornate plates, foilage, corners, and a whole line of mini fasteners. of course my passion for masks continue with a few mini masks, plus some cool salvage cardstock stickers. let's be honest here, i have my favorite for this launch too, and that would have to be the tiny attacher. this smaller than mini stapler device is so cool for attaching just about anything including small ribbons and grunge to things like ATC's, scrapbook pages, cards - wait until you see it in person....better yet, wait until you use it - you won't believe it! my catalog is now 80 pages from just 20 over a year ago - wow! take a look through this virtual catalog and let your imagination go crazy...t!m"
You can go on his typepad and see the 12 new sets of Stampers Anonymous stamps he is releasing today also. www.timholtz.typepad.com (January 21 post)

Prima has amazing releases this year also. That cart has been filled and sent - lots of new bling, superfab flowers, canvas tags and journals, paper lines for boys, girls and vintage. Sorry, I can't send a link with this - only for retailers who sign in.

Graphic 45 released 3 new lines - we're getting them all. Fashionista, Communique and Transatlantique

Brrrrrrrrrr

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all of the good wishes for my brothers recovery. Man this is a struggle. When something like this happens to your family you sure put your priorities in order. It seems like he takes one step forward and two steps back. I am becoming very savvy in the medical field. One of the nurses in ICU even asked if I was a nurse because of the questions I was asking her about his condition. Little does she know I am the "Ultimate Un-Nurse" - can't stand hospitals and sickness.

I miss my store and customers. I feel so removed. Thank goodness I have a great partner - Robin is holding it all together.

I Have Re-Surfaced

I just wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone for pitching in and making our Anniversary Event such a wonderful day. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there to enjoy it too. I know Robin is the master party-planner and pulled it off without a hitch. Thanks partner!!! My family is rallying around my brother who is fighting to stay with us.

Roving Reporter signing in!

Hi Gang!

I've been busy with the "12 Tags of Christmas" by Tim Holtz. We received quite a bit of his product in the last little while. More is on the way this week. We have devoted a section to him now. I did a class of 4 tags on Wednesday with some terrific people. They loved them and are excited for this weeks class. Check out the photo - we're tight!

We're getting ready for the Anniversary Crop coming up this weekend. All the gifts are wrapped, the games are almost done, the vittles are ordered, the seating assignments are coming along nicely, the staff are prepped and ready to go!

We had another great weekend visiting and meeting new customers. We can always count on our "regulars" to fill the coffers - thanks gals. I hope you're feeling better JP - the sale paper is a mess again! ha, ha, ha :)

Ciao for now -
Lori

It's a brand new year!

Happy New Year Everyone!

The best part of not imbibing is feeling fine on New Year's Day. We refreshed ourselves with"The Champagne of Ginger Ales" last night. That was a FIRST for some of my family and friends.

We had an EVENT at the store on Tuesday. A young girl (20ish) picked up one of our open top organizer totes and filled it full of small, pricey product. She made a dash out the front door with it. Robin was at the front counter cashing out a customer and caught a tiny glimpse of a pink/brown tote going out the door. As if super-powers took over her body, she raced out the door after the girl and chased her down at lightning speed. She demanded the bag back. Her super-power stare made the girl hand over the bag. In the meantime, the flabbergasted customer at the front counter yelled out, "Lori, Robin is running outside - HELP". I met a frazzled Robin at he front door with the tote in hand. The day was saved!

Gregory (our Jamaican UPS driver) delivered 3 boxes yesterday. Inside was the entire line of Basic Grey's Bittersweet collection. I am very impressed that we have it already.
