Happy Valentines's Day

My red roses arrived today with a "Thinking of You" card -what up with that???? It's obvious men don't think like women! A nice gesture with a glaring error!

Did you see Tim's blog post today about the "honeycomb" tissue paper? I called in the order already. Let us know if you want some.

What the heck was with the snow yesterday? What are the odds that I left my house in the morning with the appropriate footwear????? Not good I'll tell ya! Thank goodness for the power windows in my car so I could at least clear a bit of the white stuff off of my windows so I could creep home.

Upcoming Classes

The upcoming classes are:

"She" Art Canvas (similar to Christy Tomlinson's work). It is a 2 part class starting Thu, Feb 16 and ending Fri, Feb 24.

"SPRING" wooden letters class. This is also a 2 part class. You will be painting your letters on Wed, Feb 22 and decorating them in early March.

My woodcutter also cut the Easter word "HIPPITY HOP". This is a limited edition - there are only 6 sets cut. It has bunny ears and an egg as feature letters. How cute is that?

Jenni Bowlin's "Cigar Box" altered art class takes place on Sat, Feb 25.

If you are interested in signing up for the monthly Basic Grey "Page-of-the-Month" layout class, it will start in March. Sign up now.

There will also be another monthly kit class offered. Teresa Collins is providing monthly projects. I signed up to receive them for the next 12 months. There are layouts, mini albums and other amazing projects from her designers. This will be a 12 month commitment if you sign up. Prices will vary depending on the complexity of the kit.

In March there will be another "Beginner Photoshop Class" taught by Lynn Thune.

February Layout/Card Challenge and a Winner!!

Wow it is February and time for a new challenge! This months challenge is to use the colour pallette in the photo below(Red, Turquoise and Yellow) as well your layout/card must contain at least 3 hearts. Your submission must be in by Wednesday, February 15. Good Luck!!
