Got back from my trip to Charlotte, North Carolina this week - it's a different world over there! Donna & Bill Downey put on a huge event with 6 different media artisan workshops, tons of mini workshops, a vendor-faire, product demos, social time and fun for all! Thanks Donna for a great time and loads of inspiration. I met some crazy scrapbook junkies - they are hard core! Oddly enough, I was considered a "wall flower" because I was so quiet and demur - go figure????

Some Prima Marketing product arrived.

Somerset Studios magazines shoudl be arriving.

7 Gypsies order is en route.

Basic Grey "Lauderdale" is on the shelf.

Store hours for Victoria Day are 12-5.

The "Shabby Chic" class in still on for Monday night.

National Scrapbook Day - Yes. it's a real occassion!

Hey Bloggerettes,


"National Scrapbook Day" is this Saturday. To celebrate this momentus occassion, The Scrap Yard will be hosting an ALL DAY CROP at the store - 10 'til midnight. Pizza will be served at 6. There will be several SCRAP YARD GIFT CARD draws throughout the day for customer who have shopped that day. I might think of some other fun things - stay tuned!
