Hey Bloggerettes, Holy cow it's been awhile since I posted on the blog. It seems easier to go on Facebook and scribe a few words. I always feel that the blog has to be a longer post. Sometimes "Pinterest" takes up my free time - OOPS! Anyway, I am having a sale tomorrow (Saturday) - 25% off your product purchases. Need to make room for some new stuff. Shout out to Mel - hope all is well. Shout out to my Page-of-the-Month girls - "Random Act of Kindness" queens. "Shabby Chic" classes are rolling along great. We have quite a few new people signed up for this session. It's so nice to hear how excited they are after each layout. I had a call yesterday from one of the students and they were so excited aboutr doing the next layout. My iPhone app (Scrapbook Inc) is going to have a new look and feel. I am expanding the manufacturer base so you won't be limited to just Ranger/Holtz products. Stay tuned - the developer has a few more things to add in and then I'm back to serious data entry. I can check it's progress/sales whenever I want and I was so excited to see someone from Australia and someone from Germany bought it!!!! Don't forget about the "Bling It On Canada" with Teresa Collins big event in mid November. Teresa is now going to teach 3 classes instead of 2 - BONUS for attendees! Register on-line. ****The hotel rooms at the Hyatt will only be available until Oct 15 at the good rate - after that they go back up to regular price. Payment is due in full the first week of October.

The Teresa Collins "Bling it on Canada" event has been moved to November 15-17 to accommodate all the summer vacationers. You speak, I listen! 2. the iPhone app that I have been developing for the past 11 months is now available for purchase in the iTune Apple Store. It is called 'Scrapbook Inc". With this app you will be able to keep track of the inventory of Ranger, Tim Holtz, Wendy Vecchi, Claudine Hellmuth, Vintaj (Ranger only), Dyan Reaveley that you own. You will also see all of the product available by the manufacturers (Ranger, Advantus, Tonic, Stampers Anonymous, Wendy Vecchi, Vintaj, Design Originals). Pictures, descriptions, links, co-ordinating product, You Tube videos, new/release dates are all at your fingertips. You can even fill a shopping cart for yourself of products you need to buy ASAP. Our kids camps are filling up. This year we are doing the wooden letters - the students get to pick a word and then spend their time painting and playing to decorate them. Thanks to friends/customers who dropped off beautiful spring flowers to me on Saturday. Such kindness gives one a warm fuzzy feeling.

Upcoming Classes by Susan

I am so excited to share these new classes with you. First I have the She Art Mini class which will be a monthly class starting Thursday, March 22 and finishing on November 22. Each month we will explore our inner artist and create a she art type page. At the end of this class you will have a beautiful mixed media album!




I am also teaching this adorable Starbucks mini album on Thursday, March 15 6-9pm. The cost of the class is $24.99. This little album is the perfect place to store your pictures of everyday love!

My red roses arrived today with a "Thinking of You" card -what up with that???? It's obvious men don't think like women! A nice gesture with a glaring error!

Did you see Tim's blog post today about the "honeycomb" tissue paper? I called in the order already. Let us know if you want some.

What the heck was with the snow yesterday? What are the odds that I left my house in the morning with the appropriate footwear????? Not good I'll tell ya! Thank goodness for the power windows in my car so I could at least clear a bit of the white stuff off of my windows so I could creep home.

Upcoming Classes

The upcoming classes are:

"She" Art Canvas (similar to Christy Tomlinson's work). It is a 2 part class starting Thu, Feb 16 and ending Fri, Feb 24.

"SPRING" wooden letters class. This is also a 2 part class. You will be painting your letters on Wed, Feb 22 and decorating them in early March.

My woodcutter also cut the Easter word "HIPPITY HOP". This is a limited edition - there are only 6 sets cut. It has bunny ears and an egg as feature letters. How cute is that?

Jenni Bowlin's "Cigar Box" altered art class takes place on Sat, Feb 25.

If you are interested in signing up for the monthly Basic Grey "Page-of-the-Month" layout class, it will start in March. Sign up now.

There will also be another monthly kit class offered. Teresa Collins is providing monthly projects. I signed up to receive them for the next 12 months. There are layouts, mini albums and other amazing projects from her designers. This will be a 12 month commitment if you sign up. Prices will vary depending on the complexity of the kit.

In March there will be another "Beginner Photoshop Class" taught by Lynn Thune.
